Happy Halloween!





Meowlo, Peeps!

Y'know, it's hard to look anywhere NEAR scary when you're as cute utterly drop-dead gorgeous as I am, so I'm not even going to try.  

I'm just going to wish everyone a happy and, above all, SAFE Halloween.

And hope that no black kitties come to any harm tonight.  Some peeps are still full of antiquated, false and STOOPID ideas about the likes of us Black Beauties, instead of stopping to realize how gorgeous, special and loving we are.

But we won't dwell on that.  Just keep a lookout tonight for a blackie you might see and check to make sure he/she is OK if you do.

    I think Halloween should be a national holiday for black cats, and all of them should get their favorite treats, and gifts today!

    We didn't have any trick-or-treaters yesterday so the humans are now pretending not to like to have to eat the candy. Yeah right.

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Hi peeps! Yes, it's me! Back again after a little over a year. I've missed you all and hope some of you at least are still hanging in there with me. My friend Summer's blog is having traffic troubles. I hear in the blog community that this is happening with other cat bloggers, too. So I thought I'd better try mine out, because MK and I were worried that the link was no longer in service. If there's anyone out there that still subscribes, please let us know if you can comment. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change!
