Tarot Thursday, anyone?
Today, MomKatt wanted me to ask if anyone out there was into tarot cards like she is. She has two decks that she uses regularly (well, not SO regularly the past few years, but lately she's been getting back into it): The Golden Tarot (given her love of things medieval, this deck is particularly cherished): (She uses the High Priestess card to represent herself with this deck.) and Tarot of the Cat People (which is REALLY awesome with gorgeous fantasy cat artwork). In particular, in the Cat People deck (above), she loves the "Death" card - but, of course, they are all beautiful. She uses tarot cards primarily when she's got something on her mind, something she's pondering. She says she finds that they quite often lead her to other ways of thinking about something that she had not considered before or had thought previously insignificant, especially if something (a theme, a word or phrase) keeps cropping up throughout a particular card spread.
