Testing testing 1 2 3 ...

Hi peeps!

Yes, it's me! Back again after a little over a year. I've missed you all and hope some of you at least are still hanging in there with me.

My friend Summer's blog is having traffic troubles. I hear in the blog community that this is happening with other cat bloggers, too. So I thought I'd better try mine out, because MK and I were worried that the link was no longer in service.

If there's anyone out there that still subscribes, please let us know if you can comment. MK's been thinking about reviving my blog because we DID enjoy posting my adventures for you all to experience and learn about!

But we got slack (ahem, MK got slack. I've been here all along and would have been updating had I had AN OPPOSABLE THUMB! Why can't we get THOSE on Amazon????)

All the kits here are well, but last week we were told Boudicca was diabetic. MK and DK are trying the food change route first, before they decide whether to do insulin injections. DK can't bear the sight of a needle so of course MK would have to do the injections, which she doesn't mind doing.

We will keep you posted.

PURRZ!

Selina

  3. I subscribe. Sometimes I come by anyway even if you weren't ab;e to blog. I have a hard time leaving comments at Summer's place many times. Hers is the only blog. Usually its has something to do with Word Press blogs for whatever reason.

  7. Hi there! Sorry to be late commenting. We hadn't seen your post! We would love to have you blog again! As for comments, we feel lucky if we get 10 comments on any given day. Some days, we only get 5-6. Others we get 12-14. But so many people have stopped blogging that it's not really surprising.

  8. Hey, Selina! Just had a chance to check your blog. Don't have home web, so . . .
You may not know, Taffeta Rose had to go to the vet for the last time in May 2019. I miss her.
Hope that diet thing works for Boudicca. Did you ever move or not. Cheers for doing this blog.

    1. Laura and I'm sorry I have taken so long to answer you. Thank you so much for dropping your note. I'm so so sorry about Taffeta Rose. :( :( I KNOW you miss her.

No, we're still in Greensboro, where we moved from Reidsville. Got a new job as a Legal Secretary for a law firm literally three driveways down from our apartment complex.

Boudicca is holding her own but losing weight and she just looks awful. We decided we could only afford to treat her with the prescription kibble from Purina that we have to get from the vet. Everyone likes it, thankfully, so we had no problem there.

We just have to be patient. But she's peed about six times on the carpet behind our sofa and I just can't have that. The funny thing is she DOES go in the box! We don't get it. But we're keeping the area clean with enzyme spray and shutting the door of the room when we go to bed. Sigh.

Hey, if you want to write, my email is: castlebreaker@gmail.com.

I've been ridiculously absent from Selina's blog. It just seems like lately there is so much to deal with on a daily basis just to get through the day ... I hope you are well. We quarantined earlier in the year when all this crap started and I was going nuts having to stay in the apt all the time. Thank goodness I got my job in May. It's a small firm but I like that. I do my job and go home. Perfect. I don't want to take anything home or get stressed out at this point in my life.

OK enough. Please email me. I'd love to keep up. Hugs to you! And be safe.

    2. Hello Laura! Selina / Lara here. I just ran across your greeting on here (I don't do Selina's blog anymore - I just ran out of ideas and ... well ... life ...). But it inspired me to jot this note to you and ask how you were doing.

Drop me a line if you can.
