Wednesday Feisal Update

Meowlo, peeps!

Well, Feisal is starting on the Azathioprine (wow, what a big word!  MOL)  MomKatt is to give him 0.2 ml/daily in his gooshy food.  The pharmacy mixed it in a liver base so, hopefully, he won't taste it & refuse to eat his gooshies.  (He apparently has an amazing ability to taste the slightest thing added to his food that isn't "normal", then he'll refuse to eat it.  Spoiled brat!  *I* am an outdoor kitty grateful for ALL I get - I'd NEVER refuse to eat anything!  So I can be superior about this!  MOL)

Anyway, they started him on this last night.  Dr. L said to give it about 2 weeks to see if there is any change in the ongoing diarrhea (I think they're hoping that the hoomans see that he does not feel like he has to "go" as much or as frequently - I'm a cat, what do I know from medical crap?)

I just hope it doesn't make him want to come upstairs and mess with me more.  I've been enjoying the last few, relatively "Feisal-free" days, if you want me to be honest.  MOL

And I came downstairs last night & settled into MomKatt's lap!  She told DadKatt this was the stillest (is that a word?) she'd seen me since I got there in April!  MOL  Ha ha ha!  That's me - lickety split!  I ain't got time ta beg!

    Sorry to hear that your brofur is sick, Selina, although from the sounds of it, it's a relief for you.

    Still, I hope the medicine works and he gets better soon.

    It's wonderful to hear that you are bonded with your Mom now, and it's good that you appreciate all that you have.

    Woo hoo. Selina, Ise unnerstand "Feisal-free" days. Glad you gots some good lap time. Oh yeah, Mom says that we hope that the meds help and he feels better real soon. Hugs and purrs.

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! He's got the one MomKatt stole from Ed McKay's used bookstore!    At least he can't tear that one up ... ...

Hi peeps! Yes, it's me! Back again after a little over a year. I've missed you all and hope some of you at least are still hanging in there with me. My friend Summer's blog is having traffic troubles. I hear in the blog community that this is happening with other cat bloggers, too. So I thought I'd better try mine out, because MK and I were worried that the link was no longer in service. If there's anyone out there that still subscribes, please let us know if you can comment. MK's been thinking about reviving my blog because we DID enjoy posting my adventures for you all to experience and learn about! But we got slack (ahem, MK got slack.
