Auld Lang Zine!

Well, it's almost over, folks, and it's sure been an interesting year for me & my furramily.  The best thing about it - other than me getting my furever home - is meeting all of you, and reading all your blogs and sharing your adventures, ups and downs.


I hope 2012 is good to us all, and that many other kitties like me (and some of you) find furever homes with folks like the ones we have.  Some hoomans really ARE the best, aren't they?


(MomKatt says she hopes to post a pic of her holding me on here VERY soon!  My Uncle Bill sent me a picture of him & Aunt Rose in their Xmas card, so MomKatt got to see what he looked like!)

    Ugh, Ann, this is pretty basic. My MomKatt has NO artistic abilities whatsoever! MOL! She's just now getting a handle on how to do THIS! This is "basic basic"! Hopefully, if everyone will be patient with her (!!! Including me!) we'll get my blog looking great. Hey, I want to jazz it up for Valentine's with hearts n stuff!

    We like your header. If your mum is looking for blogger backgrounds there are several sites that do free ones. We usually use "The Cutest Blog on the Block" but this time we have got one from "Hot Bliggity Blog". There is also "Shabby Blogs". They are all very easy to install.

    We're with the Island Cats - you getting your furrever home was a big highlight of 2011. We were doing the happy dance here. We like the pic of you in the stair basket. You into everything and everywhere.

    Taffy and I are hanging in there and hope 2012 will be better than ... well the last two (with a few exceptions - you being one)

    We're party animals right now; had a 50th anniversary party to join this eve, And Sunday a wedding. And later this year kids from each
    one of those groups will marry. It's starting to get confusing . . .

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. I've always been a big (not fat, just big) beautiful one-eyed thang, as y'all know, so this wasn't normal. It's that MomKatt radar - I know all of y'alls pawrents have it. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
