*sigh* Thoughts on V-Day

Meowlo, peeps!

It's Valentine's Day ... so today, I'm having the typist use red as my text color.  It is appropriate.

I have no mankitty to celebrate today.  Yes, sadly, it's true.  This little one-eyed thang is pawloose & fancyfree in the love department.  Rather shocking, isn't it?  MomKatt says not to worry, it's just 'cause the right mankatt hasn't yet come along, that my state of "singlekittyness" has nothing to do with me.  And she would be right.  After all, I'm a VERY special kitty who requires a VERY special companion, one who is discerning & appreciative of the different, the unique, the ... uniocular.  

I shall be patient.  I have plenty to occupy me 'til Prince Char-meow saunters into my life.  Let's face it:  snoopervising Mom&DadKatt all day, every day, plus making sure Boudicca isn't sneaking up on me somehow, takes up quite a bit of my day.

And if "HE" never comes?  S'alright, too.  I got sibs, I got Mom&DadKatt.  I'm really one very fortunate kit.

So I shall celebrate the love MomKatt showered on me this morning before she went to work.  She rubbed me all over & smooched me & petted me & picked me up just before she left & held me & told me she loved me.

Really, what MORE does a little one-eyed kitty need?

And I want to wish a Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends who love me!  I love you right back, and it warms my little heart to know how much all of you have cared, and do care, about me.

    You're a very special kitty who always looks flirty because you're alwasy winking! We think tons of mancats will be falling over their paws for you! (our Leo thinks your wink is adorable!) And there's nothing wrong with loving all the boys! Kitties are great for 'love the one your with' MOL!

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
