'Ticia Tuesday - Black Cat Sisfur as Art
Not many know this, but my sisfur, Morticia, is a "professional centerpiece". (That's 'cause she likes to sit on or near the center of our dining room table. She's SO good at doing this she's "gone pro".)
Now, however, she's taken her professional status into the realm of Great Art - specifically, photographic art - as the following pics will demonstrate.
You'll note that, in these pictures, Morticia is most clearly NOT in the "center" of the table. She's taken this rebellious position to demonstrate her rejection of symmetry and type-casting, abandoning the label "professional centerpiece", represented by the bars of sunlight on her fur - i.e., her metaphorical "prison" marks, a "burden" placed upon her by society (i.e. Mom&DadKatt) - in favor of the freedom of expression she feels is naturally a part of her feline nature. (In other words, she's saying, "I can sit anywhere on this damn table that I want!")
Enjoy!
Pretty cool, huh?
PS - A "heads up" - my next blog entry will feature a Special Guest & an interview about "A Very Important Kitty Subject"! Stay tuned!
PURRZ!

We agree cats should be able to choose where they want to sleep, sit, bath or just be. We can't wait to see who your Special Guest will be.

Wow, Ticia, great stripings! And maybe you were thinking of the Rule of Thirds... Of course you weren't. Cats don't follow rules!!! My bad!
