Wordless Wednesday - Selina Looks Beautiful

Editorial Comment That In No Way Impinges On The "Wordless" Concept Of "Wordless Wednesday":   

Note that Selina keeps her "Cats of the CB" calendar quite near her on the kitchen counter so she can easily see which one of her blogging friends is the "daily kitty" from Pink Bed, all during 2014.  Yesterday, her sweet friend, Katie Isabella, was the Calendar Girl!  Isn't she beautiful?

Well, yes, they BOTH are beautiful, you are correct!!!

    Yes, they both are. Pop keeps the calendar at work so I haven’t seen Katiebella’s pic yet.

Please purr for my baby

Hi, MomKatt Laura here. Please purr for Selina. I've taken her to the vet Fri. afternoon and this morning. She's got a bacterial infection - she's been throwing up & "off her feed" since late Thurs. evening. They've pumped her full of antibiotics as of this morning, taken X-rays which, fortunately, showed nothing that she might have ingested. They did bloodwork this AM - her white cell count showed the bacterial infe ction; she's gotten antibiotic shots (the one that lasts for about 10-14 days), sub-q fluids and something else that I can't think of right now 'cause I'm so addled. She's on bland food (baby food, canned chicken), and I'm to offer her nothing until later today; emergency vet said Blue Buffalo wet would probably be OK if she'd eat some. She's pretty low - we're keeping a close watch on our one-eyed baby! I'm not really thinking in or speaking English well right now so I hope this is ...

My Brofur Peppers - R.I.P.

Meowlo. My big brofur, Peppers, died this morning of pancretitus.  He was brave and fought all weekend, as did Mom&DadKatt.  They force-fed him baby food several times a day, but the appetite stimulants he got Friday weren't doing any good.  All he would do was drink and, last night, he stopped doing that.  They didn't think he'd make it through last night, but he did, somehow.  MomKatt took him in at 7 AM sharp, and they put him on an IV for fluids, as his temp. was 8 degrees below normal.  They wrapped him in blankets & a heating pad and, once his temp was up to par, they were going to start an IV line for feeding. But, as Dr. Lofgren was trying to get the line into his paw, he saw Peppers give about three breaths and ... he slipped away.
