The Twins ... Waiting, Hoping ....

WHERE IS SANTA PAWS???  WHAT GIVES???  Why is MomKatt hiding things from us?  She's gotten this mysterious package she won't let us see or paw!  No fair!

AND WHERE IS THAT FAT GUY?????!!!!!  We've been waiting here for ages and we're driving the heat bill up 'cause we want the window open so we can spot him right away when he comes, so MomKatt opens it for us ... all we see are stoopid squirrels!  They don't look like Santa Paws!

"Rachel, stop griping and get to the point!"

"OK ok!!  Don't have kittens, MomKatt!"

We (Rachel, Ray, Selina, Morticia, Oliver, Peppers, Boudicca & Sasha ... oh, and the Pink Monkeys Mom&DadKatt) wish all of our furriends a wonderpurr Xmas!  We love all of you and our holidays are brighter sharing them with you all!  If you are traveling, be safe so we see you afterward!

 Man we can't wait 'til tonight for another reason:  MomKatt got filet mignons for her & DadKatt's Xmas Eve dinner!  Yummmm!!!

 (MomKatt note:  If I give The Twins a taste of that, I'll only regret it for the rest of my life ... "Fancy Feast?!  Phew!  We ain't eatin' THAT!  Make with the Grade A beef, MomKatt!")

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! He's got the one MomKatt stole from Ed McKay's used bookstore!    At least he can't tear that one up ... ...

Report From Sick Bay

Howdy peeps, First off, THANK YOU so much for everyone's concern, thoughts, messages.  It means so much to me & MomKatt (and DadKatt).  A short update. As you read in the previous entry, Dr. Lofgren said I had a "fever of unknown origin" (and that I also weigh a nice, solid 11 lbs.).  He said, in a cat as young as I, these usually are caused by just something I've picked up.  He noted that I hadn't lost any weight, and that my gums were nice & pink, so those were good signs.   He gave me antibiotics in a shot and Sub-Q fluids yesterday and, when MomKatt picked me up, my temp was down from 104.2 to 103.  (He told her normal was 100-102.)  I ate my gooshy food once I got home and spent all night on MomKatt's lap on the sofa - I WENT to the sofa MYSELF this time, she didn't have to carry me into the living room.  *I* knew where I wanted to snuggle!
