Hi, I'm Selina, formerly known as Faith!

And I welcome you to my blog!  This is gonna be all about ME!  Meanwhile, my typist (MomKatt) will be learning how to make my pages all clean & nice & pretty! 

My story was first told on here by a great kitty named Brian and his two-legger, and this is where MomKatt first saw my picture, read my story and made her mind up to give me a home!  And SO many wonderful, caring people expressed an interest in keeping up with me once I got to my new furever home and acquired my new name (named after Selina Kyle in the "Batman" stories, Catwoman's human name) that MomKatt decided, once she got time, that she was going to start a blog for me so that anyone that was interested could follow my story and my adventures in my new life.

So ... without further ado ... and hopefully with some help from Brian's human (MomKatt's already warned him she's going to be bugging him about fixing up my pages, etc.) ... here's ME!

    Hi Selina, that is such a pawsome name. We are big fans of Catwoman here. We will be glad to help you with blogging if we can. You probably don't remember us (Scylla is Brian's girlfriend) but we meet you on Brian's blog when you were still called Faith.

    We haven't counted but there seems to be zillions of cats in the blogosphere. You can keep us with most of us here http://www.blog.catblogosphere.com/ They usually list birthday and when someone is sick and stuff.

    We are so excited that you have started a blog Selina. We knew you way back. We never met you but I was asked to keep you until you found a home but I had just taken a special needs kitty and so didn't have room . You sure are looking great and we are so excited that you have such a great home. We would be glad with any questions about blogging too. Our Mom is not very techy but we could try to help anyway. Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
