Furry Friday - and MORE followers!

Morning peeps!  Happy FURRRRIDAY!

Just a quick note, 'cause there's nothing much else to report around here today, Feisal seems to be feeling better this morning.  Not much, but a little.  MomKatt says she wishes he wouldn't "scare her" like that, but she reckons he just has decent days and days where he just does NOT feel good, and acts accordingly. 
 
Thank you ALL for your purrs & concern & notes.  We really do appreciate them!  I just wish he'd leave ME alone!  MOL

I was a wiggly, squiggly thing this morning - MomKatt picked me up for my usual morning cuddle under her chin and I was having NONE of it!  I wanted to wiggle and shake, so I leaped out of her arms onto the ottoman!  You can't hold ME back!  But then she sat down and I relented, 'cause I really DID want to be petted, don'cha know, just where and how *I* designated, not where anyone else wanted me to be petted.

Sometimes, a girl's just got to assert herself!

Also?  I now have 25 FOLLOWERS!  That's three new peeps - I don't know who you are but thank you for reading my blog!  I hope I keep you entertained (MomKatt says I keep HER very entertained!  MOL)

    You can't really know how many are reading your blog since some use bookmarks, some a Reader, and some wander over from other blogs. So we imagine you have more readers than you are aware of.

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! He's got the one MomKatt stole from Ed McKay's used bookstore!    At least he can't tear that one up ... ...

Report From Sick Bay

Howdy peeps, First off, THANK YOU so much for everyone's concern, thoughts, messages.  It means so much to me & MomKatt (and DadKatt).  A short update. As you read in the previous entry, Dr. Lofgren said I had a "fever of unknown origin" (and that I also weigh a nice, solid 11 lbs.).  He said, in a cat as young as I, these usually are caused by just something I've picked up.  He noted that I hadn't lost any weight, and that my gums were nice & pink, so those were good signs.   He gave me antibiotics in a shot and Sub-Q fluids yesterday and, when MomKatt picked me up, my temp was down from 104.2 to 103.  (He told her normal was 100-102.)  I ate my gooshy food once I got home and spent all night on MomKatt's lap on the sofa - I WENT to the sofa MYSELF this time, she didn't have to carry me into the living room.  *I* knew where I wanted to snuggle!
