    This is me, taking a quick bath this morning! MomKatt was trying SO hard to snap a pic of me with her slow cell phone camera before she left for work and I just would NOT stay still, of course. She got 3 pics and this was the best one of the lot!

    The only news is that I've backtracked in my lap-sitting. I won't come downstairs again! MomKatt is frustrated - DadKatt even went upstairs last night to BRING me down to put in her lap but The Queen of Wiggle ... wiggled out of his arms!

    MomKatt thinks I wish I was an only kitty!!

    Oh I love Mom&DadKatt cuddles ... but ... it's that Feisal ... and those other kitties ... I just do NOT like competition! I want their full attention! And as for being held, they can do that for about 5 sec. before I get all wriggly ... :) :)

    WE understand perfectly Selina. We don't like cuddles either. Some of us barely let the Mom pick us up. That is a good picture of you. It is so hard to get good pictures of black kitties. Take care.

    Oh it's not the cuddles! I love being in MomKatt's lap ... but I have to come downstairs and that Feisal is there ... *sigh* What's a girlkatt to do??

    Oh, honey. Imagine that Feisal is admiring your sweet furs and thinks that you are the Queen. Take the attention as your due. He just has to act that way 'cause he is a mancat (and remember he's not feeling well).

    I am glad that Feisal is feeling better. I know all about bothersome brothers at times. I don't much care for Mom's lap, either, though I have tried it out once or twice.

A Journey - Selina Carter, April 9, 2011 - March 6, 2024

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. I've always been a big (not fat, just big) beautiful one-eyed thang, as y'all know, so this wasn't normal. It's that MomKatt radar - I know all of y'alls pawrents have it. Hi peeps! Yes, it's me! Back again after a little over a year. I've missed you all and hope some of you at least are still hanging in there with me. My friend Summer's blog is having traffic troubles. I hear in the blog community that this is happening with other cat bloggers, too. So I thought I'd better try mine out, because MK and I were worried that the link was no longer in service. If there's anyone out there that still subscribes, please let us know if you can comment. MK's been thinking about reviving my blog because we DID enjoy posting my adventures for you all to experience and learn about! But we got slack (ahem, MK got slack. I've been here all along and would have been updating had I had AN OPPOSABLE THUMB! Why can't we get THOSE on Amazon????) All the kits here are well, but last week we were told Boudicca was diabetic.
