We stopped in and left purrs for Lucy. Like you, we hope she eats and feels better soon.
Taffy saw the V-E-T on Thursday. She is having blood and poo tests. She didn't eat well Friday or Saturday. I've been hand feeding her, but today she has eaten some more of her regular food. We'll see what the tests say.
Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ... Anyway, here he is. As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.) This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store. This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in. We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there. Doesn't he have a great butt, though??) Uh oh ... bag change! He's got the one MomKatt stole from Ed McKay's used bookstore! At least he can't tear that one up ... Or can he? I don'
Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. I've always been a big (not fat, just big) beautiful one-eyed thang, as y'all know, so this wasn't normal. It's that MomKatt radar - I know all of y'alls pawrents have it. That's why she scooped me up that da
Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better? Photos do n't lie. Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity : snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all. So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right. Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water! MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly. Stand aside, worthy adversary! And now ... THE SMACKY PAW TREATMENT! Humph. That'll show it who's Boss. MomKatt reported that the
