Toos-day

A big THANKS! shout-out to all my peeps for your concern for my recent vet visit.  I'm continuing to feel better.  Got plenty of lap time last night when MomKatt got home, while she ate dinner, then about 10 PM she took me upstairs to her office (i.e. MY bedroom) and shut the door, so it was just her and me.  I nibbled my kibble, slurped water (I was thirsty!) then went under her desk for awhile, then came back out & starting loving on her.  She thinks I was thinking Boudicca was going to come after me - that cat comes upstairs looking for me, you know, and MomKatt gets QUITE irritated.  She plugged in one of the Feliways up in that room when she got them all last week, but there's been no change in Boudicca's obnoxious behavior.

I *try* to avoid her, but she comes *after* me.  MomKatt is doing her best to stay between us & move Boudicca along when she starts coming near me.

But anyway, other than that, I seem to be feeling better and back to my normal self.  Here are Morticia and myself waiting for dinner last night - of course, a picture had to be taken before we ate ... MOL

I love Morticia.  She never pesters me, or chases me, or is mean to me.  She's not mean to any kitty and has the sweetest disposition. I do admit to chasing HER now & then, but it's all in fun - NOT like how Boudicca STALKS me.

*sigh*  I wonder when that'll finally be over ...

    Oh Selina, I just read about your skerry visit to the vet's office. I am so glad you are feeling better and no more coughing and wheezing.

    ps: lots of times Harley comes looking for me, and I just growl real mean at him.

      Daisy, I really DO need to start doing that. MomKatt is surprised that I haven't, being that I'm normally pretty feisty. I don't know, there's just something about Boudicca - I make myself as small as possible and just try to stay out of her way.

      MomKatt is VERY worried about this situation and DadKatt says we're just "working things out". But MomKatt is protective of me, 'cause of my eye socket, you know, and she doesn't want Boudicca to hurt me.

      And I'm glad to feel better too! :) :)

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
