MomKatt took this picture of me on her way out the door this morning to go to work.  I don't look like I'm pining for her, do I?  LOL

Well, by 5:40 PM this afternoon, when she gets home, that'll change of course.  But I can't let her get too swell-headed ... a too-big idea of her importance in the scheme of things.  I mean, she IS important but, after all, when you get right down to it, it's all about ME.


Then again, who would make the teaser "go" in the mornings if she wasn't around?


Humm .... I'll ponder this conundrum from my comfy pink bed.  This sword cuts both ways ....

      Oh we have free range on the counters. Hee hee MomKatt grew up that way & she keeps a fairly tidy house most times so it's not too bad. Plus? This is my "escape area" from Boudicca. She's so chubby she doesn't jump up on the counters much so I'm fairly safe here at night. :)

    Funny, we tend to give Mom the same look when she leaves ;) Must be the "well fed " feeling ;)
    We do like when she comes home too!! After all, she is not there to play with us all day! We don't think that morning look fools Mom one bit...right? heehee

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them!
