Stink Eye

SUBJECT:   DadKatt
CRIME:      Untimely photo offloading

 My buddy, Keisha, is showing off a prize - PRIZE! - cat tree.

 And what am *I* showing, you may ask?  A whole lotta NUTHIN', that's what.  And WHY?

Because that HOOMAN pictured above - yes, my DadKatt, who is otherwise a nice, reasonable, affection hooman bean - is dragging his feet and failing to download the Xmas pictures from his digital camera so that I can blog about my AWESOME, STUNNING & YOU'RE-SO-GOING-TO-WANT-ONE cat tree that Santa Paws brought me for Xmas.  (Ok, ok he brought it for all of us kitties and, yes, Morticia *really* loves to get into the top bed & look out the door but ... bear with me, OK?)

Have I meowed about this at all?  No.  Have I said ANYTHING whatsoever up until now?  No.  I've been a model kitty, patiently waiting ... hoping ...

And waiting.

Prodded MomKatt.  SHE prodded DadKatt.

And we're both still ... waiting.

OK, Junior G-Man (that's DadKatt's nickname, "G-Man") ... WHERE are my pics?  Hummm?

Do you SEE me lookin' at you?  Don't be comin' at me w/that ripoff Robert De Nero impersonation, askin', "Are you lookin' at me?"

'Cause if you DO, I will reply, "I don't see no one else here.  So I must be lookin' at YOU, slacko."

      
Now.  I am the most REASONABLE of kitties.  I seldom - if ever - give the "stink eye".  (And it must be noted that, being a one-eyed kitty, I kinda have a "lock" on this look, should I choose to wield it.)  But in this case ... 

Keisha, you got any suggestions for me?  A tip you'd care to share to get him going?  MomKatt has Emailed him today - maybe THIS WEEK ...

    Wow Selina we hopes those pictures get uploaded sooner then soon.
    Mommy saw the cutest one eyed black panther kitten when she went to drop off Tuiren. In fact when Tuiren came home she woofed that Mommy was playing with the kitten and telling her how purrty she is.

    Yikes, not fun! Come on, dad catt.... get on the ball here! or at least teach mom catt how to do it, because we know that at least SHE loves Selina, she would never leave her hanging like this... Perhaps there's some way you can prove your love too? Hmm, oh yeah, Download the pictures!

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. I've always been a big (not fat, just big) beautiful one-eyed thang, as y'all know, so this wasn't normal. It's that MomKatt radar - I know all of y'alls pawrents have it. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! He's got the one MomKatt stole from Ed McKay's used bookstore!    At least he can't tear that one up ... ...

Report From Sick Bay

Howdy peeps, First off, THANK YOU so much for everyone's concern, thoughts, messages.  It means so much to me & MomKatt (and DadKatt).  A short update. As you read in the previous entry, Dr. Lofgren said I had a "fever of unknown origin" (and that I also weigh a nice, solid 11 lbs.).  He said, in a cat as young as I, these usually are caused by just something I've picked up.  He noted that I hadn't lost any weight, and that my gums were nice & pink, so those were good signs.   He gave me antibiotics in a shot and Sub-Q fluids yesterday and, when MomKatt picked me up, my temp was down from 104.2 to 103.  (He told her normal was 100-102.)  I ate my gooshy food once I got home and spent all night on MomKatt's lap on the sofa - I WENT to the sofa MYSELF this time, she didn't have to carry me into the living room.  *I* knew where I wanted to snuggle!
