MomKatt & I just had to share this story with you that we found in MomKatt's E-mail this morning.

The Little Kitty That Could

As the article says, she's got a Facebook page & her new MomKatt has named her Pretzel!

Of course, being a Meezer, this little girl just melted MomKatt's heart.  And she'd do the exact same thing that Ms. Bernard is doing:  KEEPING her, and giving her the best life possible.

Some things are just meant to be, don't you agree?  

*sniff*  I just love happy kitty endings!

In other news ... 

A PACKAGE ARRIVED YESTERDAY!

And it was addressed to ME!  (I know our mailperson really wonders about just WHO or WHAT lives at our house sometimes ..... MOL)

"Open it MomKatt, open it!  (I'll take a quick bath while you do, in case there's a handsome mankitty in it or something!)"

*sniff sniff*  Smells OK ...

HEY!  It's the bag from my furriend, Sparkle!  And it's got her name & profile on it, too!  (Her hooman designed the profile especially for this tote bag.  She's very good!)


"HELLOOOOOOO in there!  Nope, nobody here."



Who's this strange kitty on the other side?  Humm ... her eyes are almost as pretty a shade of green as mine.  I've seen her somewhere before ...


Well, it's a VERY nice bag and meets with my full approval.  It's a limited edition so, of course, we will take VERY good care of it.  Nineteen other kitties won one of these bags, too.  We are very lucky!  Sparkle had a contest on her page, and the prize was this great-looking bag.  (Hannah And Lucy received the Fancy Feast ornament!)

Oh, THAT'S where I've seen that green-eyed kitty before!  *head paw*  Duh!  


Thank you, Sparkle!  I'm going to allow MomKatt to use it for trips to Barnes & Noble.  She goes there to write sometimes, and it'll hold her journal & all her writing stuff (and not a few books, too!)  Maybe some coffee!


The weekend will be here soon - got any big plans?  I'm just hangin' with the peeps and, hopefully, getting a LOT of lap time.  It's what weekends - especially cold winter ones - are for!

    What a pawsome bag. I received mine that I won from Brian's Place. I sure is big. I heard a rumor that SLH may be back this weekend but I'm keeping my paws crossed that she isn't. Saturday night I'm DJing at the Blogpaws' pawty on Twitter.

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
