ManKatt Monday - MUPPET DOWN!

OMC!  PEEPS!

Today was supposed to be all about my brofur, Peppers, 'cause it's "ManKatt Monday"  But I'm afraid it's gotten ... complicated.

See, I just came upon these photographs in MomKatt's iPhone and I just don't know what to THINK.  They involve my DadKatt's childhood Muppet, Cookie Monster.  From this photograph, it's obvious that Cookie Monster is dead; he's not moving and there's no hand stuffed up his butt.

But why is he lying, dead, on OUR dining room floor?

And why ... oh WHY??? ... is Peppers sitting near to him?  Is he guarding the body?  Preserving the crime scene?

Or ... is the answer something far more sinister?

I guess this is a good time to say my MomKatt knows some good lawyers ... 

*gulp*

Oh Peppers!  How can you just LIE there like that, so ... so ... CASUALLY?!

Can't you see he's DEAD?

Oh kitties, I think I've stepped into some dystopian nightmare!  Could my brofur - so sweet, so innocent, such a big BABY - have been involved in ... 

MUPPET-CIDE?!  (I mean, s'riously, he doesn't know ANYONE in law enforcement!)

    No no no, he's joined the FBI (Feline Burro of Investigation) and he's investigating the crime scene. He's studying it from every angle so he can catch the real killer! Or discover the natural causes of death. No no, I'm sure it's all perfectly innocent!

      My DadKatt isn't buying it. He said, "Cookie Monster knows better. Play dead until the danger has passed. As soon as Peppers abandoned the scene Cookie Monster scuttled off…………to “an undisclosed location”. Probably had a cookie with Chaney." ROFL!

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! He's got the one MomKatt stole from Ed McKay's used bookstore!    At least he can't tear that one up ... ...

Hi peeps! Yes, it's me! Back again after a little over a year. I've missed you all and hope some of you at least are still hanging in there with me. My friend Summer's blog is having traffic troubles. I hear in the blog community that this is happening with other cat bloggers, too. So I thought I'd better try mine out, because MK and I were worried that the link was no longer in service. If there's anyone out there that still subscribes, please let us know if you can comment.
