MEET SPUNKY.

As you all know, MomKatt has a definite weakness for ruddy Abys, and this particular reason why Spunky is being re-homed just INFURIATES her.  She was yelling, practically, at the monitor screen while reading the details, "What?  Was the cat a PLACEHOLDER until you BRED YOURSELVES?  What is WRONG with you people?"

If anyone can help provide a new fur-ever home for Spunky, please let Jacoby's mum know on her blog entry above.  MomKatt's got an Email in to her, asking if it's just "no pets, period!" or "just no other cats" that Spunky would prefer (i.e. would she be cool with a dog, for instance?)

Meanwhile, I'm hissin' and so glad that MY pawrents don't think we kitties - or any companion animals, for that matter - are merely "disposable entities", without feelings or attachments, to be gotten rid of once a two-legger baby enters the picture.  What is so hard about integrating the kitty into the family?  Would they do this with a DOG?

OMC I'm cheesed off!

    My BFF Herbie's has 8 fursibs. His human Mom had a baby last year. She still loves Herbie and the fursibs as much as ever and that's how it should be. The only bad thing is that his FB page has been taken over by Neme (his nemesis) and they hardly never post pictures of him anymore. Why can't more humans be like Herbie's.

    I don't understand why the current owner cannot spare some time for her furbaby. Maybe her lap is now too full with the human baby! Isn't their room in her heart for both her babies?! :(

    I hope this sweetheart finds a home. I am thinking pawsitively. Spunky sure is beautiful!

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
