Selina - Freakin' Furriday!

Meowlo Peeps!!!

It's FURRIDAY!  Well, for us kitties, EVERY day is Saturday, so we don't get as excited about Fridays as the peeps do but, what the heck, I can celebrate it!

And, as you can see, I'm celebrating it by SITTING IN THIS BOX!

DadKatt took this picture a couple of days ago.  He was late getting out the door that morning to go to his workz, and I'd obliged him (frankly, I was bored) by slapping applying my Patented Smacky Paws technique to this Fancy Feast flat that MomKatt uses when she shops at PetSmart onto the floor.  There *were* three of them, all sitting on the end of the breakfast counter, and I was trying to peg all three but, alas ...

Turned out, however, that one svelte black kitty cannot, under any laws of physics currently known to man or feline, occupy three Fancy Feast flats all at once (Boudicca probably could ... heh heh ... or more aptly, her BUTT ... heh heh ... )  But, since I am so sleek and long and water-like, one box was all that I needed to attract DadKatt's attention and compose the purr-fect presentation of MOI.



See me?  Now, if you were a peep going past this, HOW could you resist doing what he did?  He saw me, saw how utterly adorable I looked, sitting in this box right in his path towards the kitchen door ... so he whipped out his cell phone, took my picture and sent it to MomKatt later in the day as a surprise.

As you would expect, she was surprised ... and delighted! once she received this gift.

The gift ... of ME.  In a BOX.

Really, my DadKatt is the best DadKatt in the whole, wide world!

    He certainly is the best DadKatt, especially since he's letter Ray and Rachel stay. Yesterday I almost made Pop late cos I frew up on his rug and in his haste, he stepped in it. MOL! Heh heh.

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
