Morticia Monday

Meowlo all!

Jeez .. our last entry was Oct. 28.  It's been too long.  I've missed my fans!

Well today is "Morticia Monday" and Morticia haz a sad.




Why?  Well the same reason we ALL haz a sad on Mondays.  MomKatt had to go to WORK!  Honestly, why didn't she marry that nice, rich doctor who was filthy rich so she could stay home with US?  MOL!

(Because she married DadKatt ... but why didn't HE come with more moolah?  MOL!)

Speaking of DadKatt, he's coming along fine from the accident.  Still can't do 100% with his left arm - MomKatt still has to scrub his back in the shower because he can't reach over his shoulder.  He says now he knows why we kits love back rubs!  But the orthopedist said he was healing nicely when he visited him and got X-rayed a couple of weeks ago.  It's just going to take time.

Otherwise, we're all fine.  My sisfurs, Boudicca and Sasha, went to the (ahem) V E T on Sat., but they are all healthy as far as Dr. B can tell.  We await the results of their bloodwork however.

We hope you all have a good Monday and a good week.  MomKatt says she's "over" Xmas but I think SantaKatt is going to be good to us kitties - unless, that is, Rachel breaks something.  Then is she gonna get coal in HER litterbox!

PS - We're rededicating ourselves to writing more here.  I miss my furriends, though MomKatt has tried to keep up with some of you, at least.

    yep - we wish Mondays would take a hike as well....of course, then mom would be around more and we wouldn't get sufficient nap time :)

    Work just gets in the way, doesn't it? I understand about gaps in posting. It's not always the easiest thing to get around to, especially with the holidays.

    So nice to see you, Morticia. We wish all our moms had married rich men or hit the lottery or something like that so they could stay home with us 24/7. We're glad your dadkatt is on the mend. :)

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
