I Am Not In This Picture





Meowlo, peeps!

Yes, I am here.  I know you missed me.

And yet, I am NOT here.  I'm not here in the sense that I'm not in the photo above that MomKatt took this morning.  From left that is Ray, Rachel and The Little Brat Nutmeg.

This window is in the pawrents' bathroom.  Usually, it's Morticia's place.  She loves to sit there with the window open in the mornings while MomKatt's taking a shower, just checking on her kingdom, watching squirrels etc.  But "The Three Musketeers" have discovered the joys of window-sitting and my poor sisfur can hardly get any time at all in the window now without one (or all) of them ousting her from her beloved space.

I simply don't fit there with all of them up there and I never was really interested in the bathroom window, anyway.  I much prefer this location at the moment:




These are some boxes MomKatt's packed for their move - whenever this house sells.  I like it 'cause I'm near the counter (food/treat sources) and because I'm somewhat hidden.

But of course, like most cats with our capricious, ever-changing whims, I could change "favorite spots" at any time.  You never know.

Where is YOUR favorite spot?

I hope no one's forgotten me ...

    I would never forget you Selena. My favourite spot changes every week. At the moment it is under the chair near the computer desk. I can keep an eye on my mum from there.

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them!
