Santa Paws Came!

Meowlo Peeps and Merry Catmousie!

We FINALLY got to open our Secret Paws gifts last night and they were from the very handsome Spike William!   I had never met him before so now I hope we become blog buddies!

We REALLY loved our prezzies and got busy investigating and playing right away!

Look at all these packages!  I didn't know where to start.  Humm ....

MomKatt unwrapped them for me and the festivities began!

"It's like winning the Cat Toy Lotto!"

Check all this out.  I love that so much of it all was pink and black.  After all, they are my racing colors!  (And see the cute new fleece bed Mom&DadKatt got me?  It's really, really soft.)

To start with, Ray snuck up on MomKatt while she sat on the sofa opening the gifts and grabbed some mice and would NOT let them go - MomKatt didn't even get to remove them from their cardboard!  He ran off into the dining room carrying them in his mouth and MomKatt had to chase after him and get them.

Ray says, "You gonna play with that?"
Meanwhile, I waited for MomKatt to bring some things over to me.
 
"Hurry up, MomKatt!"


"Oooo!" I thought.  "What is THIS?"  It dangled, which always gets me intrigued.

"Here, fishy fishy!  Come to mama!"

I grabbed it right away!


 
"Don't think you can escape ME, Mr. Pink Fishy!"


Then Morticia dived into the new bed chasing after a pink ball with a long tail attached to it (it's in the bed so you can't see it.)


Pretty soon we were ALL in the mix.

And MomKatt got goodies, too!


Cats can't have chocolate so I left them to MomKatt!
MomKatt tried to get pics of all of us playing but we were running around so much she couldn't get the pictures AND manipulate the toys.  She did get a video; but we're not sure how to post it on here.  Anyone that knows - can you get in touch?  Maybe Summer's meowmy?

Whew!  I'm one exhausted One-Eyed Thang!

Phew!  I see a nap in my future.


Thank you Spike William and hooman for a great collection of Xmas gifts!  You can be sure we'll be playing with them today to celebrate!

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
