A Relaxed Return To My Blog





Good Fancy Feast gravy!  Has it been since JANUARY 2016 that I've made an entry in here??  Bast, I have a lazy staff!

Well, it's all good.  I forgive MomKatt.  It's been pretty busy for our family during the past year.  She left her job, we moved to Greensboro, I and my sibs had to conquer a new apartment (what FUN!  We were tired of that old house, anywho).  

Now I'm trying to be "Alpha Female"!  It's my new ambition.  But Morticia is putting up a fight.  MomKatt says that is HER place by seniority, since Sasha went to the Bridge last December but I take issue with this.  ML scolds me for chasing 'Ticia around the apartment and trying to horn in on Herself's morning "MomKatt Laptime".  I'm not trying to "horn in" -  honest!  I just know that I'm the bigger cat and that I provide more warmth than Morticia per fur capita, simply because of my size.  

Well, I guess I COULD be nicer.  But it's so much fun to be BAD!

Anywho, I'm BACK!  I've missed you guys!  Gee, I hope no one dropped my blog because of my lazy staff ....

PS  Here I am this morning, lounging on my Sleeky Lounge.  It's a throne really - AND it's very hard and and made out of ... well I don't know what that stuff is, but the beds come with 'nip and MomKatt rubs it into the surface to make sure we get plenty of rest after our 'nip orgies!  (We had one last night.  MomKatt recently found a 'nip/silvervine combo that we go CRAZY for!)

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change! Well(er) Wednesday

Good morning pee ps and happy Wednesday! It' s me, your favorite uniocular kitty, back at the helm and, if not "rarin'" to go, at least feeling WAY better than I was almost thi s time last week. How do we k now I'm better?  Photos do n't lie.  Here I am this morning, doing my favorite morning activity :  snoopervising the coffee-making M omKatt . Se e, MomKatt's pretty bleary in the AMs, having just gotten up & all.  So sometimes an "extra eye" is needed, just to mak e sure she gets it right.  Yeah, I got one of them! ( No, MomKatt, the coffee goes in t he filter, NOT the water!  MOL) And, of course, the highlight of my morning java snoopervision is catching, and then applying my Patented Smacky Paws to, th e Wil d Coffee Scoop (those can be d angerous when cornered) ... thusly.
