My poor sisfur, Morticia. Armed with her Valentine's Day weapons (wine, chocolate), she patiently awai ted the a rr ival of someone to share it with her. But n o one came. Except MomKatt, who ate the chocolate and dr ank the wine 'cause ca t s can't have wine or choc olate anyway. Doesn't s he look sad?  Poor 'Ticia. No. Yes! For th ose that don't know, the "fake" Black Prince in the first photo is Edward, son of the English King Edward III, who was known as "the Black Prince" because he allegedly wore black armo r.  The real Black Prince in the second photo not only allegedly wears black armor, he keeps it meticulously groomed - bearing in mind that a knight is tidy and shiny at ALL times. Man Ray has recently been knighted as MomKatt's "Black Prince" and his knightly qualities include chivalry to all ladies (whether furry or not), a willingness to run about the house cha llenging infidel kitties to trial by combat using the famous "Pole Axe Smacky Paw" method of def ense, and lo yally and devotedly serving his Lady MomKatt by following her wherever she goes, looking anxiously at her from the kitchen counter and regularly rubbing against and winding around her ankles in the bedroom to let her know he loves her and that he is there to d

Feeling a little do wn 'cause it's Monday and peeps hafta go to "work"?  Or maybe it's the cold, grey weather gettin' to ya.  Well, have I got the purrfect cure for your February 10th blahs. Well, it IS Valentine's Day week, and I 'm sure the hearts of those LadyKatts (and a few of their hoomans' hearts, too) could use a little shot of Pa tented ManKatt LUV.   So h ow 'bout an eyeful of handsome black M an K itty, courtesy of big cuddly 'ole me? Well, as you can see, Ray (left) and Rachel are taking in the backyard view from MomKatt's bathroom window this morning.  It's cloudy and nippy out, but they love to sit in the window & whiff the fresh outside air. And today's a special day around here 'cause it's (A) my sisfur, Morticia's, 9th birthday, and MomKatt's ___th birthday! Happy Birthday, Morticia!  (Isn't she lovely?  No wonder MomKatt adores her so.)   So we'll be celebrating later with 'nip for 'Ticia and Krispy Kreme chocolate iced glazed doughnuts for MomKatt, fresh from the KK Store!  Whoohoo! PEEPS! It's your Favorite One-Eyed Thang here.  Yes, I know I've been kinda AWOL lately ... but that doesn't mean I'm not thinking of you all! Well, around here, February is an exciting month.  Lots of b irthdays (well, two, really , but they're big ones AND they are on the same day). MomKatt & my sisfur, Morticia, both have birthdays this Sun., Feb. 9!  Morticia forbid me to put her age on here and .. . Wait a sec ... I can't tell YO UR age, either, MomKatt ?  Man, you guys are NO fun ... Oh well.  Anyway, we were sta rtin' to get our pawty on last night with a little Cat Sip action.  I t's "mil k for cat s" and we LOVE it!  An d, of course, the occasion provided an opportunity for Ole Shutter Bug to snag a few pics of us.  (Morticia was up here drinking with us but manage d to finish HER Cat Sip right before MomKatt whipped out the cell phone camera.  S he's fast, that one.) It was easy really.  Nobody was looking ... it was empty so .. . I occupied it!
