Yo.  Peeps.  Peppers here. It's a very hot and lazy Carolina Caturday outside here in Reidsville.  Where am I?  I'm no dumb bunny.  I'm indoors, getting my Caturday easy on (why wait 'til Sunday, I'm thinking?). My cat bed is strategically placed next to the air conditioning vent.  Coolness is very important to a guy like me - both the attitude kind and the temperature kind.    Now if I could just make her go away with that silly cell phone camera ...  I love her but ... s'riously ... *sigh* Ya'll take it easy and all the kittehs here wish you a happy Caturday!  We think you should all take nap. Finally!  I get my OWN post on my OWN blog!  Those )%(*@)!! kittens ... they get ALL the press lately. Have ya'll missed Your Favorite One-Eyed Thang?  Well, I'm doing great, peeps.  I am running around the house like a crazy cat these days, playing and having a good time.  I've found that Rachel is fun to play with.  MomKatt "makes the teaser stick go" and we go after it hammer and claw!  Then there is my obligation to get the maximum amount of lap time with MomKatt in the evenings. Here I am this morning, resting after a stick play session.  (As you can see, Rachel just HAD to photobomb me ... *rolls eyes*) MomKatt showed him this photo and DadKatt said, "Well, she was just trying to help by pointing you out, Selina!"  As if you peeps could MISS me in this shot.  I think she did it to sabotage me. You wait.  I'll get her. Hope everyone has a good day!   Purrz! Selina PS - Yeah, OK I kinda wish *I* had a pointy tail .......

I think the picture speaks for itself. Little furry con artist ... ;-)  He has his way with me regularly on this subject ... he licks his little butter dabs from the plate while I eat my breakfast.  Then comes back over to me and my plate, hoping for a bit more of something ...  Honestly, I don't know WHAT to do with him.  :)  

It's a mazing how quickly time passes. One year ago yesterday, I brought into my life two other lives that I did not expect to keep for myself.  I was just doing a good turn for two sweet kitt ens whose futures didn't appear to be all tha t bright. Of course, being cats, THEY knew that that particular day i n 2013 was their Gotcha! Day and I , being the sucker that I am, started to suspect it as time went on.  But DadKatt held out, saying, "You SAI D foster only!" Well.  Look where we are now. Happy Gotcha! Meowlo peeps!  Happy Friday the 13th! Since we are a househol d full of Black Beauties, we thought we'd celebrate our special day by showing you piccys of our breakfast today! Her e is Morticia - stealing MY f ud!  After she's already had her Gooshy Goo dness!  That cat has a tapeworm, I swear!  She me ows and meows while MomKatt is trying to get ou r food read y, while the rest of us wait patiently for our bowls without putting up a lot of unnecessary dramatics! Then after THAT performance, she dares to steal my f ud!  Well, MomKatt took the bowl from her after she took this picture and gave it back to ME!   HEY!  That's MINE! Here are Ray (on the left) and Rachel, enjoying their gooshies.  (If you don't believe 'Ticia got her breakfast, see just above Ray in the photo.  That's her - stuffing her little gullet!  MOL!)  Yours truly is over there on the right, too, BTW. (Editorial comment:  this cat eats/drinks ANYTHING!  But we love drinking out of MomKatt's water cup in the morning.  Little mooch!)  

Meowlo, peeps! I'm glad it's Meezer Colors Monday, because I'm going to feature my sisfur, Sasha, who gets hardly ANY press at a ll and who really des erves some.   Here she is, a blue Siamese mix .   She's DadKatt's first girl kitty since he & MomKatt were marr ied.  She turned 10 years youn g this year and they got her when she was a kitten in 2004. This is how she appeared when MomKatt went to the shelter to evaluate her for intake into Siamese Rescu e: She had untreated herpes in her left eye, and this left it clouded.  But the lady that brought her in (polite term for "dumped her") told the shelter staff that she "had spent too much money on this kitten and it wouldn't get well, so she wanted them to put her to sleep and she was going to stand there and watch them do it!" Well, when the shelter staff got the woman out of the building before some furious human throttled her for being a basically scum-sucking exa
