My Stolen Teaser

Image
This tie-dye teaser is my stolen booty from Boudicca (insert evil meow here). So this morning, I was like: But then my brofur, Peppers, was like: So then I had to get it back, like: He's such a baby.  He LOVES getting things in his mouth & dragging them to different rooms, like MomKatt's leopard plush backpack, which he drags into the living room while the pawrents are watching TV, like it's some super-special accomplishment.  He deposits it on the floor & sits next to it, meowing while it's still in his mouth in a strangled sort of tone to get their attention. But THEN, he tried to get it AGAIN by dragging it into the dining room (we were in the hallway before) and lying on it with his big ole 20-something-pound self. But I was like, "No way, dude!  Tie-dye teaser *my* ill-gotten goods!  Get off!" This went on for some time. UNTIL ... I finally emerged TRIUMPHANT when he walked away: Brofurs is SO annoying! So, how do you lik...

Relieved

A VERY eventful weekend. First of all, it appears my Aby sisfur, Livia, is out of the woods, mostly, with her nasty URI.  MomKatt had to hand-feed her on Fri. afternoon, because she'd gone from 5.2 lbs last Sat. when MomKatt took her to the vet the first time, to 4.8 lbs last Thurs., when she went to the vet AGAIN and stayed there all day, getting doses of eye drops every 2 hours from our very dedicated vet guy, Dr. Mark Brigham.  (MomKatt can't say enough how AWESOME he and Dr. Jim Loftgren are - she wouldn't trade our vets for anything and, even though I've only been to them once since I've been here at my home, I must say they *are* most excellent, caring men.) So it was feeding baby food all Fri. afternoon with a syringe.  None of us were allowed in the room with them, because MomKatt's terrified that another of us will pick up this bunch of nasties.  She got the baby food down Livia all afternoon and it was like she suddenly remembered, "Oh, food!...

Total Washout!

Image
Bonjour, peeps! I know you're all wondering about that "WATCH THIS SPACE" entry I made about a week or so ago ... well, it basically ended up being a wash out, at least in the kitty sense (or, rather, in the "new pics of Selina investigating events" sense).  My pawrents got a 51 in. flat screen TV and a new Blu-ray player and on Mon., Feb. 27th, it was to all arrive and they had stayed home to put everything together. That was the "big event".  What MomKatt was HOPING for was that all the cats would be gathered around, awed, etc. by the mystery package and the assorted boxes & papers that normally come with such hooman treasures, and that she would get lots and lots of pictures of them (especially MOI!) investigating all this, playing in it, etc. Weeellll ... it didn't turn out QUITE as expected.  Here is 'Ticia's reaction: My nemesis, Boudicca, however, seemed to be more interested than any of us: That's the TV, still in...

Happy Birthday to me ...

Image
Happy Birthday to me! I'm two years old now! MomKatt says I can be a "terrible two" now, whatever THAT is! Me, terrible?  NOOOO! Must be why I was so WIGGLY this morning and all over the place - I KNEW today was my special day! And thanks to everyone who purred for my sisfur, Morticia, while she was at the vet getting her teeth cleaned yesterday.  MomKatt loves our vets but putting any of us "under" for any reason other than spay/neuter makes her antsy ... plus she's really picky about Morticia, 'cause she's MomKatt's "soul kitty" ... so she worries ... man, you shoulda seen her last night, too!  They gave her the GOOD drugs!  She was so wobbly and wiggly - I told her she was trying to imitate ME but couldn't! PURRS! Selina

WATCH THIS SPACE!

See?  See me watching?  Yes, I am! My newest adventure will occur on Mon., Feb. 27th.  MomKatt & I are anticipating much new fodder for my blog and some PAWSOME photos so ...  WATCH THIS SPACE! Selina (being very vague & intriguingly mysterious)
