Hello, all, Mort i cia here!   A s you can see, I'm meowing.  Something I'm doing a lot more of recently.  (Hey, a girl has to let the hoomans know wh at's on her mind, right?)    Anyway, right now, I'm meowing a message to all Selina's fans & readers. Your favorite uni ocular kitty is taking a vacation.  Well, a ctually, her typist, otherwise known as MomKatt, is taking a vacation.  But they'll both be back quicker than you can say, "Fancy Feast!"  Or "Lit ter Locker!"  Or ... "HAM!"  (Did I mention I love HAM!?) Meowlo, Peeps. I'm passing along a sad story from our furriend Brian, from Brian's Home , about two black kitties named Ray Charles & his sisfur, Rachael.  Here are their pics: Ray Ch arles Rachael Aren't they just adorable? Here is the link to Brian's p o st about them: Black, Blind & In a Bind These two sweeties desperately need shelter.  Right now, they are at a vet's office recovering from surgery for a condition called Entropi on , which b asically involves eyelids that roll inward and rub against the cornea of the eye.  It's VERY painful.  The kitties are in Greenville, SC, where I came from - so MomKatt & I feel a SPECIAL affinity for them.   Ray Charles is blind but Rachel is not.  Basically the y were both part of a large cat colony caught in a rather unfriendly trai ler park.   The residents don't like cats & are/were going out of their way to harm /eliminate some of the poor creatures by hitting them w

Mornin' peeps! I'm getting my relax on today - we' re not normally here on Sundays but just so you don't think I'm getting into a rut, we decided to SHOW UP UNEXPECTEDLY!  I'm NOT a predictable kitty , y'know. Sundays were just MADE for naps, don't you agree?  And I'm starting early today.  Usually, Sundays for Mom Katt are decided to non-stop reading, or movie-watching or, in season, a Tigers baseball game .  (Unfortunately, it's also F-1 racing seas on , so some Sunday mornings, thanks to DadKatt, aren't quite as quiet around here as we'd like them to be.  Oh well, at least they start early and the carnage and noise are generally done by 10 AM.) Anyway ... it's lap time ... so I'm getting my easy on.  Are you ? (Psst!  M omKatt'll be getting HER easy on about ... oh, 2:30 PM ... when she usually passes out on the co uch.  MOL!) Mornin' Pe eps! I'm sending ya off on your (hopeful ly happy) weekend with a co uple of new fotos.  Hope everyone's hav ing a great time at BlogPaws, if you're there , and know we're enjoying the pics you're sending back. I was playing "Teaser" with MomKatt this past Wed. morning, and th at's when she took this pic.  We usually have games while she's eating breakfast.  Or I sit there on this chair with her while she eats.  I must sa y, she's quite talented, maneuvering the teas er for me while she's eating.  Not everyone can (or will!) do that! Here is what I will be doing later this eve ning, after MomKatt gets home .  We are BOTH looking forward to this special time! Hiya Peeps! For Thankee Thirsty-Day, here is a pictu re of me actually taken ON Thanksgiving Day in 2011. Today, I'm thankful for the fact that Straw Hat Day is OVER and I can take that thing off!  M OL  I'm not really a "cat in the hat".   I think hats are more useful to be slept on than worn.   Kinda like shoes, y'know? You caught me just as I was t idying up.  Now that I'm a "Sexii Lady Kat of the Interwebz", I really do have to t ake more time with my appearance.  I can't go about now looking like a slouch (NOT that I ever did, mind you, but a little extra attention to detail never hurt any katt). M eowlo Peeps! Well, since : A.  Mom Katt says I haven't been doing anything too "photo-worthy" lately; and B .  It *is* ManKatt Monday ... H ere, for your viewing pleasure, is Peppers on a bag. Now HERE is a Sexy LadyCat (as her hubby, Hudson, would no doubt agree) but she's very quiet about it.  S he places more emphasis on the "lady" part of that title/equation than the "sexy" part. So ... enjoy your Thursday 'Ticia while I enjoy a nice  Z zzzzzz ......  Purrs! First off, let me say how proud I am ... this is the "surprise" that I was alluding to yesterday (but thank you to all who th ought I was getting a new sib, o r that Boudicca had gotten a new home.  On the latter matter, it looks as though she is NOT going anywhere and is our "permanent basement cat" at my house.  Oh well, it's cool as long as she stays there and I stay upstairs.  "Good fences make good neighbors", as Robert Frost might observe, and he would be right.   Or, in this case, "good basement doors"!) Morning peeps! MomKatt's not feeling too hot today, so she's home with me.   See here?  I'm on the job, s upervising the sick ie.  :) Seeing double?  That must mean I'm working DOUBLY hard at my task!  MOL!
