Monday Morticia - Waiting, Wondering ....

Meowlo!  Morticia here.  I hope everykatt's ready for the holidays!  I think we are ... now it's just down to the waiting.  The anxiety.  The hopes.  The dreams.

What will be in our stockings this year?  MomKatt is sneaking around with AmazonSmile.Com packages that have been coming in.  She won't let us sniff them, either.

Plus the new cat toys in the guises of torn wrapping paper, wadded-up bows and loopy, magnetic curling ribbons!  That's the part *I* can't wait for!

I'd better leave extra 'nip for Santa Paws!

    Well, I know we aren't getting anything for Christmas - the Santa Kitty Toy Hop was OUR Christmas, and after this year, my human doesn't have any money left over for gifts for us or her boyfriend! So it is kind of a non-event here. But I still wish my human would set up the tree.

Dearest Furrends: My scribe is typing this entry with a truly heavy heart. Yesterday, I made my journey to The Rainbow Bridge. My doctor, Dr. Daniel, told me in November 2023 that I had something called a "mass" that she could feel when she did something she called "palpating" my underside during my annual well-kitty exam. It didn't hurt - it just felt like she was squeezing me a little. She told Mom&DadKatt, who were there with me (of course) and suggested several options. They decided to start giving me a medicine called prednisone (I called it YUCK ). Dr. D said it would really boost my appetite. Boy, did it! See, MomKatt noticed I'd lost a fair amount of weight in a couple of months prior and she knew something was wrong. Hi peeps! Yes, it's me! Back again after a little over a year. I've missed you all and hope some of you at least are still hanging in there with me. My friend Summer's blog is having traffic troubles. I hear in the blog community that this is happening with other cat bloggers, too. So I thought I'd better try mine out, because MK and I were worried that the link was no longer in service. If there's anyone out there that still subscribes, please let us know if you can comment. MK's been thinking about reviving my blog because we DID enjoy posting my adventures for you all to experience and learn about! But we got slack (ahem, MK got slack. Bag Day!

Meowlo, Peeps! Today is Bag Day and Keaton is demonstrating some of the many different things he can do with an ordinary paper sack from the grocery store. He claims it's environmentally responsible, as he's upcycling a natural resource. Do you buy that? Whatever ...  Anyway, here he is.  As you might notice, he enjoys a variety of bags from different places (i.e. he has no taste and will take ANYTHING that comes along.)  This one is from Lowe's Foods grocery store.    This one is from Jersey Mike's subs. We all loved that one because it smelled soooooo good but he wormed his under it and none of us could get in.       We never got into it and in the end, it's cool because MomKatt got a hilarious photo out of it! (We have NO clue what he's doing in there.  Doesn't he have a great butt, though??)   Uh oh ... bag change!
