One Eye on the Future

Meowlo peeps!  Did everypurr have a good Memorial Day weekend?  I did - I even helped get the meat & food ready for da grillin'!  See? PURRS! Selina

Y'know guys, I'm a patient kitty.  (OK, I'm NOT but ... be that as it may ...)  My pink bed, which resides on the hoomans' kitchen counter (and which I've named "Pink Bed" - catchy, huh?), is, let me say, PAWSOME.  He's pink, for a start (and I look pawsome in/next to pink).  Next, he's soft.  And third, he often serves as a great toy because the bottom of him is made out of some material that makes him S-L-I-D-E!   So I go for rides across the counter a lot - sometimes, I can even slide him so that he falls over (upside down of course) onto the floor, on top of the food bowl!  MOL!  MOL!  (Boy, does that frustrate Peppers when he wants to go stuff his face!  I told him I was trying to help him trim that tummy down - but no good deed goes unpunished.  We then have to wait 'til a hooman gets home or comes into the room and puts Pink Bed back up on the counter.) But this morning, Pink Bed wasn't behaving like I wanted him to.  What was he

MomKatt took this picture of me this morning for the blog entry for today.  As she looked at it online (she took it with her iPhone), she got a good chuckle. See my left eye?  MOL!  MOL!  Isn't that the FUNNIEST thing?  Like it's a little marble ... This one's better - at least of my eye - but now my left EAR is wiggly!  MOL!  MOL!  (I like it 'cause I seem to look more "kittenish" in this one than in others - a girl kitty likes to fancy herself perpetually young, y'know.) Honestly. I mean, she's a creative type.  But she's ... (looks around before putting paw to her mouth & whispering) ... LAZY. I keep saying to her, "We need to get more involved in the Cat Blogosphere!  I'm the famous one-eyed kitty!  I could be SO much more active there!  But you're holding me up!  We don't decorate the page!  You go for DAYS without typing anything for/about me.  What's up with THAT?  Why do I even HAVE a blog?" To her credit, MomKatt *does* feel guilty.  And I know she *does* have a few irons in the fire right now, mostly a job she's not very thrilled about (to say the least) which pretty much drains any creativity she might have by the end of the day.  (Plus, she's reading this HUGE book about someone named Lyndon Johnson - and there are three more huge books about the same guy after THIS one.  No wonder she's tired!) Mornin' Peeps! Well, thanks once again to Ann & the Zoolatry Girls!  They've made this TOTALLY pawsome picture for Boudicca to help get her adopted!  I've posted it on the side of my blog page (man, I hope I've done this correctly) and it looks great. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Ann & girls!  This was so sweet & kind of you to do! Meowlo, peeps! After trying everything they knew to try, or was suggested to them to try, my pawrents have made the decision to re-home my sisfur, Boudicca.  They both agree it will be best, both for me AND for her, because Boudicca is such an Alpha Female she will be happiest in a home where she can be the ONLY cat & "rule the roost". Thus, I'm writing to see if anyone would like, or would know someone else that would like, a lovely, friendly, fun, purr-sonable female kitty, approximately 6 years old, who is a lap cat, who follows you around the house, who talks to her hooman, loves to knead when she's in your lap (DadKatt recommends having a towel on your lap at these times 'cause she's kneaded a couple pairs of his pants into holes on the left thigh! MOL) and who only needs a dab of L-Lysine in her wet food once daily? Here are pictures of Boudicca - we are going to take more & better photos of her in the coming days.  She's 100% up to dat
